The project Hacking Nature by Veronika Miškovičová, an architect, artist and researcher, explores the potential of inter-species collaboration. As part of her long-term research, she develops biotechnological living instruments inspired by the natural living conditions of the organisms. In her latest works, she explores the potential of long-term microalgae growth in various environments. In collaboration with various academic institutions, she collects and quantifies data from the instruments, such as carbon dioxide uptake and oxygen production, to help better understand the vital role of microalgae in the local and global environment.
